Ontario Sheep Farmers, District 8 will be hosting a solar site meet-up on Saturday, May 27, 2023, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Rotational grazing and solar work well together when the dual-use concept of land management is adopted. Bluearth Asset Management has 250 acres across four solar sites in Centreville, Ontario. They have partnered with Bill McCutcheon from Riverside Heritage Farm to implement rotational grazing under the solar panels. Attendees will hear from solar grazer Bill McCutcheon and Anita O’Brien, Grazing Mentor, Advance Grazing Systems Mentorship Program.
